The BRA Project allows the Walk for Life Foundation to deliver a personalized and therapeutic bra for patients who have undergone a mastectomy, free of charge.
Through the delegation in Fuerteventura of the Spanish AECC, our Walk for Life Foundation has given 46 affected women a bra that has a design, material, and features that can favor the recovery of mobility of the area and the state of the intervened tissues, and facilitates daily life activities such as dressing thanks to its frontal closure.
In the smaller islands, there is less access to this type of garment, so the Walk for Life Foundation continues its commitment to take the BRA PROJECT wherever it is needed and recognizes the important work of the AECC Fuerteventura, especially that of its President Isabel Laucirica and their social worker Yurena García.
