The Hilda Team and Walk for Life – Carrera por la Vida donate 5,000 euros to the Contigo Foundation
Hilda Siverio is a benchmark of struggle, of overcoming and also of commitment. At the last edition of RACE FOR THE CURE, Hilda created a team and asked Walk for Life to use the proceeds to support research on metastatic triple negative breast cancer.
Thanks to Hilda’s impact on social networks and the immense affection of her followers, her team raised 4,260€ and the Foundation Carrera por la Vida completed the amount up to 5,000€. Brigitte Gypen, president of Carrera por la Vida Foundation, served as a link so that the amount was received by Dra. Isabel Rubio, a member of the Fundación Contigo Scientific Committee, who will allocate this amount in full to triple negative breast cancer research projects.
The Fundación Contigo Cáncer de la Mujer was born from the hand of Dr. Javier Cortés and its mission is to promote research projects that help put a stop to cancer in women and improve the quality of life of patients.
