This edition of Walk for Life has been the framework in which the assembly of the European movement Think Pink Europe has met in Tenerife
With the aim of joining forces and efforts in the fight against breast cancer, organizations from all over Europe join Think Pink Europe, a network to improve and accelerate the exchange of information and best practices on medical care and research.
In 2019, Think Pink Europe recognized the Walk for Life Carrera por la Vida Canarian Foundation, for its trajectory and its work, as its only representative organization in Spain. With the sponsorship of Turismo Tenerife of the Cabildo Insular and the Tourism areas of the Arona and Adeje Town Halls, representations from over 20 European countries met in Tenerife to hold the annual Think Pink Europe assembly and develop a forum where specialists and members of the organizations shared their work, projects and advances in favor of people with breast cancer.
For the Walk for Life Foundation, it has been an honor to organize and receive the assembly and have the representations in the Walk for Life Carrera por la Vida 2022 that highlighted our convening power, the involvement of society and the great work of volunteering.
