The Pink Room is a venue kindly provided by the Adeje Town Hall (Tenerife) in 2015, which serves as the headquarters, informative office and educational facility for the Walk for Life Foundation.
The Pink Room was conceived as a meeting point for volunteers and those affected by breast cancer, where training actions and workshops are carried out to provide information and tools to help patients and their relatives go through the breast cancer journey under the most favourable conditions.
At the Pink Room, staff members provide a personalised peer-to-peer service aimed at people who need information and support to cope with their diagnosis and treatment.
The Pink Room also offers external activities that are taken to educational centres, community groups and companies, intended to raise awareness and educate the public about the reality of people with breast cancer, and the importance of breast self-examination as an effective measure for breast cancer early diagnosis.
