Raising Awareness and Funds in 2025
“Dakar for Life” is more than a project; it is a cause that has been going strong since 2023. It was born from the passion and commitment of Rafael Lesmes, his CUP 59 team, and the Walk for Life Foundation, with a clear purpose: to raise awareness about breast cancer, both in women and men and give visibility to a fight that deserves all our attention and support.
In 2024, our Pink Elephant overcame all the obstacles of the Dakar and shone with pride by winning its category.
This victory was a symbol of hope and improvement, reflecting the battles faced by those fighting breast cancer. Like the challenging road of the Dakar, treatment for this disease requires perseverance, strength, and an unbreakable spirit.
Now, in 2025, Dakar for Life embarks on its third year with the same energy, commitment, and above all, with its heart set on continuing to help. This year, we are continuing to raise awareness and funds for projects that make a real difference in many people’s lives.
The Pink Elephant returns to remind us that obstacles, no matter how big they seem, can be overcome with determination and the support of a united community. This Dakar is a tribute to all the stories of struggle and bravery. Let’s go together for more victories, inside and outside the race.
