A Journey of Hope and Breast Cancer Awareness

The Walk for Life Foundation is launching the third edition of the Camino de Santiago por la Vida aimed at women and men with breast cancer and their companions.

From August 30th to September 7th we will walk the 120 kilometres of the Portuguese Route to share experiences and establish links between people with breast cancer and their companions. The Camino de Santiago for Life will depart to raise awareness among pilgrims during the itinerary about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and making the survival of the disease visible.

During the Camino, there will be assistance measures to facilitate and support people who have or are suffering from breast cancer. With the motto “The path is the goal”, the importance of each step is emphasized.

This project of our Foundation has the support of the Health Area of the City Council of Adeje, Tenerife, and the Sports Department of the Government of the Canary Islands.
